Many people want to help homeless animals but are not in a position to devote the time or space necessary to adopt, foster, or Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Instead, these people can help by making contributions that directly assist with the general care and veterinary expenses for the cats in our foster system, as well as help fund our Animal Care Assistance Program.
Sponsorship can be rewarding for school classrooms, retirement home residents, and others who can't adopt a pet of their own, but want to play a part in helping homeless animals. Sponsorship may also be made in honor or memory of a loved one.
Your sponsorship is a one-time payment to HAL, earmarked specifically for the area you wish to help with. You will not be signed up for a monthly charge and there is no obligation to sponsor again. You can make a secure payment by clicking the PayPal button located on the side of this page or you can send a check or money order to our mailing address. HAL is also a registered charity with justgive.org and you can designate a sponsorship through their website.

- Foster Home Sponsorship - $30.00
Covers one month of supplies for one animal in a foster home.
- Animal Care Assistance Program Sponsorship - $25.00 and up
HAL assists the community by providing food, supplies and/or medical care for companion animals during times of need in an effort to decrease the amount of animals abandoned or relinquished to shelters. Your sponsorship will help keep this program going and will allow us to help more animals in need.
- Vet Visit Sponsorship - $45.00
Covers the cost of a general veterinary examination.
- Cat Spay/Neuter Sponsorship: $55.00
Covers the cost to spay or neuter one cat.
- Dog Spay/Neuter Sponsorship: $80.00
Covers the cost to spay or neuter one dog.
